Meet our Worship Leaders:

Reverend T. Bryson Smith
Bryson began his legacy with Burke UMC while he was still a student at Wesley Theological Seminary, starting as an intern and taking an active role in Burke's Youth Group and youth ministries. Bryson now heads the Youth program, is an associate pastor for Burke UMC, and serves as a LifeSign worship leader.

Originally from Alberta, VA, Bryson recalls his early experiences with the church. "When I was 16, my girlfriend took me to church. I felt the pastor spoke right to me-telling me of God's love, God's forgiveness. Even after my girlfriend and I stopped dating, I kept going to church." Bryson was also struck by the way music ministered to people, which has guided his path in ministry. "I love to preach, to sing, to be with folks."
