Our program begins after Labor Day and runs through May.

We follow the same school closings as Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). If County schools close for any reason (bad weather, teacher workday, holiday, etc.), we will also close.

If the County has a delayed opening of either one or two hours, BUMP will open one hour late, and will operate from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In the event of an early closing, we request that you pick up your child as soon as possible. Local radio stations can carry school closings and late opening announcements as early at 5:30 a.m. in inclement weather situations.

Christmas Break - BUMP will be closed for two weeks.
