Kathy Landon, Director of Burke United Methodist Preschool, is a native of Atlanta, GA.  She met her husband, John, at Vanderbilt University.  For the next 26 years, Kathy and John with their children enjoyed life as an Air Force family.  After 17 moves, Kathy and John happily retired in Burke, VA.  Kathy taught at BUMP for twelve years before becoming director in 2004.  Their son Charlie,  daughter Amanda, and son in law Brady live in Denver CO.  They all love to ski, snowshoe, fish and hike.  "Every day at BUMP with our children and staff is a joy".
