Learning with LEGO
4th Sundays from 4:30-6 pm
3rd-6th grade
A Bible story, conversation, friendship, and a chance to play with your LEGO sets! Dinner and LEGO bricks will be provided.
Kid Connection
Sundays at 10:30 am
Pre-K through 6th grades
Children's Sunday School! A time of fellowship, snack, and a bible story for kids in pre-K (age 4) through 6th grade.
JUMP (Junior United Methodist People)
4th Sundays, 4:30-6 pm
Kindergarten through 2nd grades
A monthly time of fellowship, games, fun, and friendship. We hope to see you there!
Children's Church
Sundays during worship
Ages 4 through 2nd grade
Children between ages four through second grade are invited to a children's worship time for a Bible lesson and hands-on activity. Kids will start in worship with their families and then be dismissed to go to children's church before the message.

There are many opportunities to get involved with music at BUMC for kids of all ages! ​Children must be registered ahead of time to participate in music groups. Click HERE to see music group times for this year.

The BUMC nursery is available Sunday mornings during worship (9:30-10:30 am) and the Sunday School hour (10:30-11:30 am).
SHARE Opportunities

All Ages
Our children are invited to participate in a variety of SHARE opportunities during our children's programming. Whether working in the co-op, learning about food insecurity and justice issues, or helping with initiatives like Teddy Bear Brigade, we incorporate service into our children's programming so kids learn and grow in love of neighbor.
Burke UMC Preschool (BUMP)
School Year - registration coming in early winter for Fall 2026!
Ages 2.5-5

Serve in Worship
Acolytes are needed every sunday and for children 3rd-6th grade! Sign up to be trained and join in!
