Giving at Burke UMC
First fruits giving requires the theological premise that our possessions and assets ultimately belong to God. All that we have in life is a gift from God! Faith-filled, first fruits giving is our opportunity to return to God a small portion of God’s abundant blessing in our lives. Moreover, these blessings are not limited to financial assets or possessions. Most of us can examine our own lives and find numerous blessings, perhaps even some astounding miracles. As Christians, we are called to give to God “what is right, not what is left,” as the popular quote from a church marquis states. God calls us to offer our “first fruits,” not the “leftovers.”

METHODS OF GIVING
If you are making a commitment to give to the ministry of Burke United Methodist Church, we invite you to submit an estimate of giving card and then choose your method of giving from the list below.
Online
You can click the buttons below to give online through RealmGiving or PayPal. You can use most major credit/debit cards with these systems. You can also use this function to enroll in an automatic monthly giving withdrawal from your debit or credit card. If you'd rather text to give, you can text "BURKEUMC" to 73256 and give through your mobile device. Instructions for changing or cancelling a recurring contribution via PayPal or Realm Giving (includes Text To Give) can be downloaded HERE.
In Person
There is an opportunity to give during all of our worship services. You can also mail your offering to the church, drop it in the secure mailbox in the front circle, or drop it by the office during business hours.

Bill Pay
Most banks allow patrons to set up automatic bill pay through their checking account. Using your online banking system, or by visiting your bank, you can set up an automatic transfer of money to Burke United Methodist Church in the amount and frequency of your choosing.
