Youth Opportunities with BUMC
Our Youth Group is called "The Life" and is for students in grades 7-12. Youth are always welcome to invite friends and neighbors!
Youth Group won't meet weekly during the summer, but we do have various opportunities for students to plug in and get involved. If you have questions, please reach out to Katie Glick at email@example.com!
Sunday School meets at 10:30 am after our worship service at 9:30 am. We need Sunday School teachers for our youth. Please click here to sign-up for the Sundays you are available to teach.
BUMC invites all students 7th -12th grades to participate in confirmation when they are ready and interested in being part of this deliberate time of faith preparation. Confirmation refers to the decision a person makes to respond to God’s grace with intentional commitment, publicly reaffirming their baptismal vows before the congregation and becoming members of the church.
Confirmation is finished for this year, but if your student is interested in participating next year you can be in touch with Katie Glick at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Connection- a high school small group focusing on connection to one another and to God. Connection meets first and third Wednesdays at 7 pm. Connection will use devotionals, personal stories, and Bible verses to explore issues important to the group. Connection will be led by Anne Sawin and Anne Schoolcraft.
There are many opportunities for youth to get involved with music this year!

YOUTH CAN VOLUNTEER WITH WORSHIP, TOO!
BUMC needs volunteers to help with worship to greet people and to usher. Youth are invited to sign up for these opportunities to serve during our worship services. See the following signup genius for more information by clicking here!
Ms. Katie needs volunteers to assist her with Children’s Church this school year. Children’s Church meets during a portion of the worship service and is for children aged 4 thru 2nd grades. Children begin the worship service with their family and then are invited to join Ms. Katie before the sermon for an age-appropriate message and a related video, song, or activity. To sign-up to assist with Children’s Church please click here!
