Prayer Beads are for Protestants! Adults and teens are invited to join us for an afternoon of fellowship, learning, and making your own set of beads as we discuss the history of prayer beads. Prayer beads are another tool for prayer.  Just as a pen helps us complete a shopping list, the beads help us began a talk with God. Many of us struggle to start a “talk with God” as our minds wonder to things undone, what to say, or wonder if God hears. Come learn about patterns and scriptures to uses with your beads.  The use of prayer beads can also help learn to listen for what God can say to us.

Children will make their set of prayer beads as they learn about aspects of prayer through fun, age-appropriate activities & games.  They will visit prayer sites in the church and enjoy a snack together.
